iwas wanting to know if a 85 grain broad head on a 2413 aluminum arrow would be okay. would i need to fletch it with 3'' vains, or feathers or do i use 4'' vain or feathers and would the weight be okay also. i know most people shoot light broadheads with carbon but is it just as good with aluminum.
thank for you respones they are greatly appreciated.

Hey wing,I would put 4 inch veins on your arrows.Feathers are plastic will work great. You are shooting a good combo. That is pretty much the set up I used to use when I shot alluminum arrows and they worked great.

Thanks bro.One of my brothers lives in Ruston, not to far from you.I am currently useing 100 grain rockets,(hammer heads)and I am shooting gold tip arrows.
I would not change wings.I have killed a good many deer with alluminum arrows and to me they are just as accurate as my carbons.I wanted a little more speed, but killed many deer shooting 230 feet per second with my old set up.The smaller grain broadhead will do great on your arrows.
