I use a cheap CVC .22 with a tasco 3x9x40 scope. Either that or my Remington 11-87 12 Gauge or my Remington 870 Wingmaster LW Magnum 20 Gauge. But nothin beats dads Marlin 39A lever action .22 with a leupold scope on it. I used to love squirrel huntin with that gun!

My Marlin .45-70 Guide Gun. Just kidding but my all time fav is a tie between my Grandpas Stevens .410 single shot or his singleshot .22.

But I do most of my hunting with a Glenfield semi auto with a Tasco3x9x40 on top.

that's pretty decent shooting. my 10/22 use to do that sometimes. now it shoots squirrel head size groups at that range. i think my last batch of cci stingers was off or something, my 22 usually groups them pretty good, but real inconsistent right now. anybody know how many rnds it takes to wear out a .22 barrel. i'd say mine has probably 15,000 thru it. never been worked on except for "occasional cleaning" and the trigger was lightened about 17 or 18 yrs ago.

15k you should be fine. but if your your not shootin the same as before its prob goin down hill. I've heard of 50k+ and not accuracy lost. metal bore brushes will prob ruin it faster then just shootin. the 10/22 is such an awesom gun though prob one of my all time favorites fun to shoot and cheap to shoot.

and CCI ctingers are prob my favorite rd to put through mine. just dont buy em too much cuz i got so many cheaper rds sittin around.
