We are leaving in a few hours for New Mexico. The weather looks great. Maybe we will have some luck. We are hunting in unit 6A, the last time we were here we took a couple of great bulls. I am excited to be going back!

When does your hunt start? I can send you some recent pics of some elk and a couple bulls that friends took during the muzzleloading season! Have a safe trip and the weather looks perfect for hunting elk. I'm up in 6A all the time although you've stated that you hunted there before.

It started Sat the 24th and would have went until the 28th. My partner and I got on 3 nice bulls at daylight and had two of them on the ground by 7:45. The weather was great. I would love the see the pics of your friends bulls.
