i been lookin to get me a light weight tripod that i can change locations with ease. i have a tract of land i got this year that is mostly clear cut so this would be the perfect thing in my mind at least lol...i been lookin at the big game treestands the pursuit cr8100, and the summit preditor pod. anybody have any expeirence with either of these?

I have looked at both of them and think either would work. I always like to make sure the shooting rails on a tripod fit me before I get in them. I have one that I have to use my triggersticks out of and it is just something esle to have to carry.

I went out yesterday [muzzel loading] and noticed my buddy had a Summit Preditor Pod,on his farm in the peach orchard, so when we hooked up later last night,i asked if he ever had any luck with it? and he said, sure....killed many deer in it I'm hunting out of it Thursday. Now he say's he doe's not move it until the end of the season... I say if this i what you need/want go for it.

That is what I am going to do as well. I have two places I need to put stands (cutdowns) and I am just going to leave it be this year and put tripods up before next season. Let me know if you see any in the area on sale. I will do the same.

killed my 202 dressed out 8pt this year from the big game pursuit tripod. the thing with tripods is to stick them directly into some pines or thick cover. i put mine all the way into some pine trees and had to move the limbs out of my seat. it is only 10 feet up but if you are right in the thick stuff, you should have no problem. how do u post pics so i can show you guys the deer. he was 245 live weight.

Hey have you seen that summit X-pod? it maybe the same thing as the Preditor pod not sure (not as up on their products this year). But that thing is sweat and is supossed to be very portable.

greenecodeerkiller i have looked at the xpod and it looks cool but u have to ancor it to the ground with straps every time. with the summit preditor pod and the big game pursuit you dont have to tether it to the ground. ill keep my eyes open for some tripods for any tripods sc bucks n bird. and let ya know what i find..
