After going to the local gunshop to pick some plain old ballistic tipped bullets and finding out they were sold out, I bought a box of Hornadys factory loaded 150 gr GMX bullets. I was skeptical at first since they are kind of a copy of Barnes Triple Shock bullets and in Sc our deer are rather small. But a trip to the range and a half inch group with the first few shots I was impressed by their accuracy. A 150 lb eight point buck shot at 60 yds taken with a texas heartshot sealed the deal on performance. That 150 grain bullet drove all the way to his front right shoulder and dropped him in his tracks. the recovered bullet looks just like the advertisement photos nose peeled back and no apparent loss of weight havent weighed it yet but i bet its close to original weight.
