get the primos mastering the art coyote pack. watch the dvd. randy will tell you all the basics you need to know to learn to kill coyotes. get a dead dog choke and some hevi shot dead coyote rounds or some buck shot . there are also lots of magazines on predator hunting and other forums on the web about predator hunting, even a forum on this primos site about predators. read and learn all you can. then go hunt. the best teacher is experience. have fun, hunting dogs is a blast

What kind and model of shotgun do you have? We know it is a 12 GA. Is it the same one you shoot deer with. Reference *Choke and etc.
A shotgun will certainly work for Yotes! You can also use #2 Shot in the High Power Loads. of course 00 will work. Even slugs are good for a little longer range. I mostly use a High Power Rifle except when I hunt thicker cover. Old Willey can sneak up on you quietly and fast if he takes the call.
