Looking for insight from women on bows they are happy with. Right now, the only plan I have is to have my daughter shoot as many bows as we can find fairly locally to see what feels best to her and what shoots well. Her draw length is 25.5, and that is somewhat limiting.
My criteria:
This is her first bow and I don't want to sink a small fortune in it for her to shoot one year and decide not to shoot anymore.

My little sister shoots a diamond razor edge. its a shorter axle to axle and fairly light bow both in weight and in price.

For my first bow I bought a Fred Bear Instinct. It will go down to 40 lbs but I now have it on 62lbs. I have a 25 in draw length so this one fit once I found a mod for it. I love the bow, it works great for me.

Bear also sells the Young Gun. I've read some good stuff on the Browning Micro Midas, too.

Diamond's Razor Edge is a great bow, and has a wide range of adjustment for draw length and wieght.

Check out the Parker Sidekick XP. A friend of mine has one, she is small framed and shoots this bow well. Very quiet and fast for only shooting 42 pounds.

My wife shoots a Mathews Mustang, it is a very nice bow.
She just killed her first deer with it Sat. 22 yard shot, quartering away, exited offside shoulder. She shoots 45lbs, 23.5 inch draw, GT 600 ultra light, 75 grain Wasp boss bullet.
Bow is quiet and a very good shooter. No hand shock.

Mathews passion, seen a couple on ebay, they look like a very nice bow. You can even get them laced with pink flowers,

I know for a fact that the Diamond Razor Edge is a great little bow, my buddy just bought one for is wife to shoot and she loves it (she is just staring out and it is pulling like 28 lbs and shooting 200fps at like 24.5 in's) Also the Parker side kick is another really good inertmedaite bow. And the Bear Young gun is another good one. I think you are on the right track in letting her shoot a bunch and find one that she likes.

There are many bows made today for youth and women. I would find some shops close to you and have your daughter try as many as she can. A bow that works for one is not always going to be the same for another.
