Anybody get any grouse??? I got 2 while i was bowhunting elk, but never even saw one deer hunting. Should've gotten some pics, but went and grilled them up for lunch right after. Grouse will never get old.

i've been out twice, limited once, and got 4 the other time. almost shot a sharptail, or spruce grouse which is protected. actually saw the red around the eye while i was pulling up. i like to stuff the whole bird with cheese, broccolli, and wild rice. then if there is any left overs emake pot pies mmm. mmm. good

We just usually grill them up if we get enough, or throw them in with our spuds for the night's supper

.
I've never went out especially for grouse....i need to.

usually weake a 6-8 drive to the u.p. just for grouse, and stream trout fishing.probably not the most cost effective trip, but the scenery is almost worth it by itself.
