Hey guys I was just wondering how many of you keep like a journal of your hunts and scouting trips recording what you saw/ killed. weather conditions, wind direction, place you hunted etc? It is something I started last year and am glad I did cause It should give me some good info for this year.

I have tried for the past four years and this past season I did a lot better than usual by cataloging all of my hunts up until the week after Christmas. The years prior I only made through about the first twenty hunts. I take note of weather, wind direction, temp, which area the birds are roosting from and where they go from the roost given the difference in conditions from days prior. I am going to make a valiant effort to to every single hunt this year. It is a great way to help you remember how the birds act at a certain property under certain conditions!

Yeah it was kinda hard for me last year, but I made an effort at night after a hunt, to try and get all I could remeber about it. It was also cool to go back and count the days I actually spent chasing ducks and it came out to like 42 of a 60 day season.
