if the biscuit on the rest gets wore out can you retune it? or will it just not ever shoot right?... i know the replacement is cheap but the local archery shop is out right now.

Can I ask why you want to go with a whisker buiscit?

Drop away rests offer 0 resistance vs a WB. Also, the drop aways now adays have a clip behind your rest that your arrow clips into. When you pull your bow back, it lefts it off the clip. So you can turn your bow upside down and the clip will hold it in place.

PS, they do have a sort of retractible whisker buiscit that I saw at the ATA show this past year.

Check out the Expert II rest made by G5. Awesome drop away rest and it cradles your arrow perfectly!

just do a online search, you will find the part you need and have it in a couple of days.

If your shots are wandering make sure your biscuit is tight in its' frame. That will cause wandering issues. If the biscuit is worn out replace it.

Biscuits rock!

Shoot strait!

i've had my biscuit for 6 years now. i have shot the crap out of it. i can't imagine wearing one out. even if you did wear it down, you can just bend it to tighten it up, if you have the one with the opening on its side.

you could replace it cheap. well, fairly cheap. and i guess you could go with a fall away. for hunting, i see no advantage to them. but they work. just cost more.

Do you have a local walmart? Our local walmart has replacement biscuits for $20. Check any walmart within reasonable distance and you should find one.
Bring 'em In
I saw them at walmart yesterday

Yeah wlamart or any of the box stores should have the replacement biscuits. But it can also be retuned by simple moving the rest up a little on the big bolt that attaches to your bow.

My experience has been, Biscuits are Plug-N-Play. As long as they are the same size, you are good no matter where you buy it.

I wouldn't shoot another rest. Absolutely love mine, and feel they are the best hunting rest on the market today.

In my honest oppnion the whisker bicuit is one of the best rests ever made.
Yeah you dont get zero fletching contact but the rest is fool proof no moving parts to break or get out of wack. fall away rests are made for the best accuracy. i have nothing against fall aways but there is nothing wrong with a WB go onto youtube and there is a vid of a guy shooting 100yds with a WB. with a fall away yeah it improves you accuracy but so does practice.... what it all comes down to is what the person likes to shoot and if he likes WB then to each their own. it comes down to knowing your equiptment and its limitations. plus there is a cost factor fall away rests are more expensive.
annd all the improvemnts you can get with a fall away you can get if you have your bow tuned right if its not tunes right the fall away is not going to add a signifigant change in your shooting

with my WB i can get 5" 4 shot groups at 60yds

that is plenty good for hunting yeah it may not win you a gold metal but it will get you meat on the table

know your equiptment and you can shoot just fine

and yes try checking your local wal mart they should have one
