i guess it would depend on what kind you get. but i have used the spando flauge face mack for years and i love them, i can fell my ears just fine. but they are getting hard to find.

this is like the style im thinking i use my ear for anchor point when shooting my bow so i want to be able to find my anchor point when i need ot

I use the same one for hunting, and yes i can feel my ear but the face mask is fairly constricting, so you will have to be careful that it doesn't change your anchor point.

Don't bother with the mask if you think it will affect your shooting. (it sounds like it already has). Your bow alone will be enough to break up your outline. I only need a mask if it's 10 below and the winds blowing. More for warth than camo.
Unless your hunting in a ground blind. I might use a black facemask. If you do use one, just practice with it on. It will be different if you are using a glove also.

they don't bother my shooting i have shot with one for a couple years but my dad don't like the loose net one that i had because of the eye holes and he was looking at this one so didn't have to use face paint

If your that worried about your anchor point then dont use one....i have had deer walk right underneath me look up at me and my stand and just keep on going about their buisness....i dont use one because i dont like the feeling so its up to you but the deer i hunt dont seem to mind
