Needing new rangefinder. Looking at some of Nikons $200.00 - $300.00 price range single eyepiece models. Are they a good rangefinder for the money?

got the pro staff few years ago and love it...not a bit of trouble with it, light and very compact, fits in my bow vest nicely!

I have a Leica 900 and Nikon Archer's Choice. The Nikon is great for the bowhunter, but the Leica is far superior in optics. However, the Leica was 2x as much! The nikon is smaller, but I love Leica using a red reticle. You can get readings in the dark and see how far! Black reticles don't do that for you...and at low light they are hard to see.

No complaints from my Nikons either, both range finder and binoculars. Well worth the money and the the optics are very good.

I have a Nikon prostaff and love it. The batterys lasted qute awhile. And it would pick up horses in a hay field at 500 yards+
