alright alright alright. Season will be upon us in a couple of weeks. I'll try to stay up to date on the boards. Whatever yall decide on a name/banner is fine I just prefer that it isn't too flashy/cocky. When we win, let's do it in style!

Hey guys, I'm sorry I'm so late checking in with this, I have been sick and completely forgot about being on a team for the Waterfowl contest. I'm so excited early season opens in a few long weeks. LEt me know about team name anything works for me. Hope to hear from you all soon, let's try to stay in touch a lot.

That will work, we need to get it up and have someone do us a banner. FFdeerhunter did the one for our team on the deer contest, I could see if he can do one for our waterfowl when we decide on a name. Let me know.

Can't wait it is almost early goose season and I am so ready to take Moose (and JR) and watch em drop!!!

that sounds like a plan, I have no idea how to do banners so if yall know how or can get it done than perfect! We are five days out from the dove opener and early teal starts on the 12th so I am itching! Can't wait to start seeing some pics of new hunts!

Looking foreward to the season. Got a good goose shoot lined out for the first and then hopefully a few teal later on.

I'm so ready to go chase some whitetails and then go out for geese (early season is coming). I just can't wait till it gets here worse than a kid at Christmas and we have a couple new places lined up for waterfowl

Well alright Fowl Four! We for sure have a great looking banner, now the great photo entries is the key! I am able to start putting points on the board as of Sept. 12th I believe with early teal which will last for 16 days. After that it will be the first part of Nov. for our regular duck and goose season! I can't wait to start seeing the pics of what everyone is doing, related to the contest or not! I am just pumped that we are FINALLY getting back to my favorite time of the year!

Early Goose opened up today and goes to the 15th for us. Hopefully I will get to go this weekend but we have so much planned it will be tough. Either way I am going out next weekend and hope to have some pics to put on here. The only way I can upload pics on here is with my phone will that work? I have to go read the rules so I do them right!!! Good luck everybody...it's that time of year at last!!!

Just threw two threes on the board. Killed about a doz between the ten of us on Tuesday. I killed at least two of them.

Way to go. Let's see some pics.....went to the Metro park on my lunch today over in Columbus and there were a bunch of honkers, one with a leg band. I was drooling, the girl who works with me laughed so hard at me and then in came the teal. She said we had to leave before I tried to strangle one.

Alright guys I will start putting points up Saturday! Garrett nice Honkers man! Haha, that is still a funny statement every time!!!

Going out Saturday...unfortunately we can't get into the good goose ground until they take the crops off so that will be for the later season but we are still going to our other ground...usually more ducks there but we have taken geese in the past.

I had a little surprise waiting on me when I got to work today. There were about 30 geese feeding in the grassy area by the bank...I told the good Lord that if that was supposed to be funny it wasn't...man I can't wait to go...

Glad to see yall are ready to roll. Teal season opens here on Saturday, but I'll be in a deer stand instead of the marsh. But we'll hit them up eventuall. Yall be safe and have some fun!

Shot limits of teal this morning 3 guys 12 in the bag real quick like! No post from yesterday's hunt on the account of me not telling my hunting buddies to not clean my birds for the pics! No worries though that will not be happening again!

Well nothing to report - early goose came and went and we got sidetracked - happens when you have 4 kids!!!

Right now we are hitting the deer woods hard as the bow season opened yesterday for us, waterfowl opens up in October and we will be hitting it hard that weekend - it is JR and I's anniversary and that is what we do hunt deer and ducks (and geese if they are around). Hopefully I will be helping throw some points on the board. It goes our in early November and then comes back in I think early December until the end of January.

Hey yall! Hope you guys have a great Christmas holiday!

Hey all. Getting ready to get some pics with the ducks I killed today. Got 1 drake and 1 hen mallard today. This is our first real weekend of waterfowl hunting and the geese didn't cooperate they all flew out 10 minutes after shooting light!! Guess I'm adding 3 points for the day anyway! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and is enjoying 2010 so far. Talk to you all soon. Have fun and stay safe.

you guys are doing pretty good this year,my season is over now so i am not out hunting,but then again we got 33" of snow in the last two days,geese are headed your way!!!!!

We have a few more weeks here and plan to hit the waterfowl areas hard. Hope you are right on the geese heading our way I would love to get a few of them in the freezer before the season is over and I have to wait till April to go after Turkey.

My grandfather has been real sick for the past week and ended up passing two days ago so I haven't been out all week. Funeral is tomorrow so I will be back at it hard starting Saturday! We have some good hunts left before the end of the season! Got a call today from a good friend saying he found the ducks here close to the house so we may have to go give them a run down Sunday!

Man I'm sorry about your loss. Good luck when you go back out. I'm going to try to throw some more points on the board this weekend too.

Added up another Mallard Hen for us. Went out for geese today but came back cold and empty handed had fun though. I sent Jeepin a PM because my points were added. Thought I did it right. Hope everyone else is having some fun.

I have four points from this afternoon and 2 to add from a week and a half ago I will get them up as soon as I find the usb cord for the cam. Went out to scout today and took the shotty for reinforcement! Couldn't pass up shooting a couple while on the prowl for the rest of the week. I will get them posted as soon as I get that cord to quit hiding!

Hey Texas saw you threw some more points up for us. I just added my first black duck and a drake to boot. Had a great time, geese were all over but they just wouldn't come low enough to shoot. Had some snows go over but again too high. Going again tomorrow, we saw Pintails earlier this week but they were a no show today and I want a drake to mount and add to the collection.

Looks like the hunting has been good Carrie. I have had a lot going on so I haven't been able to get after it like normal these past couple weeks. But I will be out this weekend to try to wrap up the duck season with some more points. Sunday's hunt was a great one though. I am still waiting on the pics from my great Uncle, the in the timber hunting shots. I got the points photos up already but I had his camera in the swamp. Left mine in the truck!! Anyhow, hope everyone is having fun. Be safe!

Hey guys.
Today was the last day of ducks for us and I posted up one more mallard drake. Had a blast. We have next weekend left for Geese and will be hunting all day Saturday and Sunday. They have been flying over our house a lot here lately so I'm keeping my gun handy - they fly over about 20 yards high right out the back door. Hope everyone else had fun. It's been great.
