I figured that after sharing my rather embarrasing forty yard miss story I would share a couple of pics we took from some hunting we did this past fall and winter that proved a bit more successful! The cat was shot the first time we tried calling at night, out of the truck, by a good friend of mine. We sqeeked him in to under fifty yards but the distance was very hard to judge with the red lens on the Q-beam which led to a low gut shot and a wounded cat! We went back the next morning to bust the brush and find him. Walking through belly deep prairie grass looking for wounded bobcat in the dark didn't seem like a whole lot of fun! My brother sent ole Wiley to meet jesus one afternoon while shredding a real thick cow patch, six of em busted out of the brush and that one got a little too curious and stopped to look back not quite far enough away!
