If theyre usin dogs then theyre not usin calls so you may not be as bad off as you think.
When tose boys say 'hunt the brush and places they feel safe' they mean call them OUT of those places, not actually walk into them and call. Not tryin to overstate the obvious, but go in out of sight and downwind of a cover area, with the sun at your back if possible,up to a mile away on a calm day, closer on windy days. You do not necessarily need to be able to see the cover area, just know its there. If you can see it they can watch you walk in. That happens, gigs up when dealin with educated dogs. Still keep an eye out in all directions as they have a very nasty habit of comin in exactly where you dont expect them. Hunt em like your the one who's gettin shot and your odds improve.
Good advice.
In my area of Kansas, there is a lot of hunting with greyhounds...as it sounds like you have there in Wisconsin...unless you're referring to using "trailhounds".
My best advice...try to get permission to hunt grounds that the dog hunters can not get access to. After being chased, & not killed, an intellegent coyote will start bedding on property where he isn't being chased on.
