If you had to pick one state for a trophy mule deer hunt, which one would it be?

Colorado first choice followed by Idaho and Wyoming.

That would depend on what the hunter wants. For numbers and an average deer, Colorado. They do have big deer, but it's the numbers for that state. Trophy mulies, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Sleeper states would be New Mexico, the Dakotas and Kansas. But, I still love hunting in Montana for getting away from it all.

Right here in the beautiful state of Wyoming. We have great numbers and some true bruisers that are in some places you wouldn't think of looking

...out of state would be Utah/Wyoming
