Hey all

Just had to brag on this one. Last year I took a nice bear out of Northern BC (see other posts for pics and story) and this year my dad, and two hunting partners drew the same tag I had last year!!!

That's three draws, for one area, that we know is full of bears!! I saw three shooters in 4 hours last year.

One of my hunting partners also drew a nice mountain goat tag. I got squat!! But I get to help, and run the camera.

Where we hunted 2yrs ago in BC they killed 2 large boars on the lake we were at. We seen lots of grizzly sign , I stepped in a track and my foot was well inside the bear track!!!

Ya all unguided. I can't afford a hunt like that!!! Particularly when the resident Grizzly tag is only 86 bucks. The most expensive tag in BC.
My old man, my buddies and I shouldn't have a problem taking some nice bears. We are heading up the first week of Ocotber for them. Bears have better hides then. Mine only had its' winter hide on the head and fronts. The hinds were still kind of thin. I took that bear 4th of Septemeber last year.

Congrats sunds like a great time. Been out for Griz just the once, got to draw on one with the bow but decided it was too small, would have made a nice pair of briefs when it was all said n done.
Im currently living in Alberta and hate it but would love to go on a trip like that.

Get yourself out of that wheat filled wasteland and back to the mountains where a man belongs. Lots of tags to go around, you can come get one next year. Not the like draw odds aren't around 1.4 : 1 Put in for two years, guarnteeded a tag, and a bear hide. My front room carpet has never been softer.
