Okay everybody this is to give you all a heads up the elk contest is a go. Sign ups will start the week of the 20th of July and run till the 7th of August, that should be plenty of time to join if you want to. Teams will be announced shortly after the sign up deadline. Look for the sign up thread in the elk contest forum on the 20th.

Thanks for the assistance. Just like last year we will work together on the questions that people may have. I still have all the rules from last year so all I have to do is update and post it. I think between the two of us we will have no issues.

Ya I tried as much as I could but you definitely took the butt of the work ahaha. I just answered peoples questions and looked at the entries to see if they were "legal". Whatever you need boss.

Do you have to hunt with a bow? Because I'm rifle hunting Mule Deer & Elk with a rifle this year.

I would pick a new area to hunt! I dont think its called hunting if there isnt any elk in the area . All that your doing is taking a hike

well ok, the success rate is higher than that Ill look it up but I recall it being 10% or below regardless, we know our area very well, so we are kind of hesatent of changing units. Plus, we live in washington and most units are pretty tough going. I have had a few good chances, one great one 4-5 years ago, but 35 yards was out of my range then Still waiting, Anybody want me in there group?

Count me in also. Got tags for Chesnim. We have taken bulls each of the last three years.

Sorry just added the last three people that wanted to sign up. As of right now the sign ups are closed unless two others sign up to make teams even. If you want to get in on the list you have to go to the elk contest forum and sign up in the appropriate topic.
