I thought about that exact thing just a few days ago. I figure that maybe you could put something around water or a trail. Like a loose post or something. I know where I would put the camera, but don't know where to attach it. Unless the water hole is by a fence or something idk.

I saw a movie at one point where they put taped a trail cam too a rock....where the antelope were water for the most part... sounds like it might work.....

Ya, but most of the time where I see waterholes I don't see rocks, or much anything but dirt, even the sage brush is a ways away most of the time. I guess you could always bring a rock....lol.

here in idaho there are rocks everywhere, I would just move a rock about the size of a basketball with the trail cam attach too it, and put it the farthest distance away from the water hole and still be able too take an accurate picture.

Well seems like you got it figured out. IN my area, there definitely aren't any boulders lying around. Dirt, brush, and a tiny bit of water.

I drove through green river there's a couple of rocks here and there and the rest is flat and alittle grass....... you could jimmy something with a rock somewhere....... biggrin.gif
