Bring 'em In

I looked at rangefinders today and I want to get the bushnell ark with a set of binoculars with it. I like the price but I when I would find something to range i could read the numbers at first but then they would kinda blur out. I could make the numbers out if I really tried but it wasn't perfectly clear. I then used a nikon and it was perfectly clear but it didn't have the ark. They didn't have a nikon with the ark for a price I wanted except for the archers choice because it only goes out to 100 yards. I want the bushnell ark but I just can't figure out why I can't read it and other people could read it fine. Has anybody had this problem before?

maybe you need to adjust the focus on it for your eye ?.

I did adjust the focus. It almost seemed like I needed to turn it farther than it would go

I was wondering if you were focusing to much on the read out/target acquistion area vs the target itself. However being the nikon stayed clear through out, not sure thats the problem here.
Do you think you need the arc, enough that you'll buy something that doesn't suit vs something that does? Of course you could change your budget to suit both needs as well??
I own a Lieca with no ARC and have yet to miss the feature or game for that matter.

I was using it inside. I didn't think about it at the time but I had a game before we went to cabelas and I got dirt in my left eye. I was using my right eye but maybe my right eye had over corrected for my
left eye or something
