Was wandering if anybody has been bear in tenn looking for some info

Never hunted there. But I went to Gatlinburg about 8 years ago this sept. and a group of hunters and there dogs caught up with a bear in the back yard of the place we were staying. It was funny because the week before I was on a bear hunt up in Maine and didn't see the first bear. I go on vacation the next week with the family and there is a bear practically knocking on the back door.
