How much do you normally spend on dog food for a single beagle? I need to know because I will have to pay for my dog and its food. Thanks..

it's been a while, but you can get a 40 lb. bag of food for 16 to 22 dollars.(if he's going to be a true hunting dog get the best you can afford) we always buy the biggest bag we can to save money. but that much food should last 1.5 to 2 months. if a beagle gets sedentary and can't hunt as much as it should they can put on the weight quick, but it can be hard to notice due to it's stocky body structure.

man my beagles hardly ever bark, unless some of the yard dogs are out by the pens or someone starts that way with the food bucket, a lab or something like that would bark a whole lot more than the beagles

I have a beagle and a border collie, and the collie barks 100 TIMES more than the beagle. When the beagle barks (or bays lol) it is WAY louder, but not as often as the collie. We go through a 50 lb bag of food a month between the two. The collie weighs 80 lbs.

my beagle is not a barker unless something is in the yard. It makes a good pet, especially for children.
