Since I didn't draw a Montana Deer tag for 09 I'm thinking about doing some upland bird and waterfowl hunting in the Glasgow and the Harve areas and would like to know if it's worth the trip?I'm also thinking about taking a day or two and do some mountain grouse hunting.

i don't know how the bird hunting is in MT. but i don't think you can ever go wrong getting away for a week or two on a hunting trip.

Have you considered a wolf hunt in ID. I just spent the week end in the hills and were going to need some help.

Plenty of upland hunting in that area. Sep 1 is opening for sharp tail, dove, and partridge. Plenty of open hunting with the BMA program.

Thanks guys.

I'll make my mind up in a couple of months on what I'm going to do.I'm still debating an archery Elk hunt in Colorado.

I you're gonna be in Colorado around November, you should try some pheasant hunting here. Plan a really long trip and hunt elk and pheasant. I guess archery would be over by then, but 3 of us lmited out 2 days after Christmas last year. We had 9 birds by 1:30pm. We hunted south of Holyoke, Co.
