Purchased a new rifle today. Wandered away from my beloved Savage Company and purchased a brand new Cooper. Will have to figure out how to post a picture when I get my Leupold and Stevens 8.5 X 25 X 40 on this new beauty.

Yep, I did the same thing too, bought a Rem. 788 22-250 at an auction a couple of weeks ago, then a friend wanted to sell a Rem. 700bdl 22-250 like brand new with a bull barrel on it last week so I bought it too. Since my wife took over the 204, I figured I had better get my own, just didn't plan on two. Like she said, you can never have to many guns, God I love that woman.

Tis a rare woman that will speak those words. Bless her heart. If you ever get tired of her just send he my way. You are one lucky man.

.204 Ruger, I am a real big fan of that caliber. I still have my Savage in .204 this just give me the gun to compete in all three classes at the varmint shoots our local club hosts.

Well Savage, I had to follow suit, I went to Cabela's today, and yep just had too, couldn't control myself, you know!!!! I dropped about 1 1/2 G before I could get out of there. But the good news is I got 2 nice new Leupolds and a lot of ammo, oh ya, and the wifey got a brand new pair of shoes, we were all so happy we had to stop at Denny's on the way back to celebrate.

Hardcore- She does have a sister, all pink and fufu. Hates horses, outdoors, ranching, country, hunting, everything but ankle biter lap dogs that yelp all the time. So I will leave it at that, you are on your own. Oh ya, and blonde!!!

Can't go wrong with a Cooper! congrats!
