Thinking of investing in a new bow. The Matthews S2 has really caught my attention. Any reviews on it?

I have seen the new Mathews Reezon and shot it. But I don't know about S2 is that a new bow or an old one. I know they used to make an SQ2.

S2 is basically a lighter Switchback with a different idler. Many people think the SB was one of Mathews' best.

I am big into bow hunting and big into equipment. If your gonna spend your hard earned money on it you want it to perform. I can tell you that anything that has "Mathews" written on it is a keeper. I bought my first mathews the year after the Switchback came out. It was a longer bow. Had a 31 inch draw length. I always felt like it was too big to be carrying. I can tell you that i've got the DXT right now and i love it. Smooth, Fast, Quiet, and most of all reliable. I've shot the Reezen and the Hyperlite. Haven't seen the S2 yet. I'm hoping to look at the Monsters when they come out into our local bow shop. But as i said in the beginning. ANYTHING with MATHEWS written on it is great.( just my opinion). Good luck with the shopping. Let me know what you end up getting

If you are going to shoot the Monster get a good arm guard, talked to a guy that shot it at ATA. Said it was biting everyones wrist because of the super low brace heights. It is fast though.

i heard the same thing. I just dont know what to do about the bow. I love the speed the monster brings. But the size kinda makes me ill. I love my DXT. Short, fast, light. It shoots a smooth 312 fps and it's small. Meaning it's easy to carry in the woods. That's what i love about it

I shoot the Switchback and love it. Like was already stated, the S2 is basically the same bow. I don't think you can go wrong with it.
