I AM GOING TO BE DEER HUNTING ,TURKEY, COYOTE AND HOPE TO GO OUT WEST FOR ELK.

I think you will like them very well, just keep in mind that whenever you wear any leather boots in and out to your deer stands dont forget to spray scent eliminator spray on them to help conceal your trail.

I think you made a poor choice. Danner makes a good boot but they call them loggers for a reason. In your part of the country they will probably be okay. As far as out west elk hunting is concerned. In my part of the country you are gonna have some mighty cold wet feet.

Doesn't really matter. Boots are kind of like rifles, you can never have too many different kinds.

I have a pair of boots that I use just for treestand hunting that is rated like 120 below. I sat in 3 degree weather with -16 wind chill, and didn't get cold at all. I havn't had to use hand warmers in my boots in years.

I have other types of boots for when I sneak around (several pairs). Comfort is more important then.

You can't go wrong with Danner as far as quality goes. They are great boots, but you might like a different style for hunting. I'm not sure what the loggers are like, but I use the Danner Pronghorns just about all hunting season.

I had a couple pair of them over the years they were a good boot and yep your feet will get wet even after greasing them. I had to give up wearing them because of the high heel on the boot they made my back ache bad. so now every boot I own has a low heel and no more back aches.

IMHO White's Boots are the best on the planet....

they will custom build a boot to our foot and they will stand behind their product and repair and replace them for years.... they are comfortable and durable, and the quality of the materials and construction is second to none...

I've had my sorrels for a couple of years now and I love them my feet get cold pretty easy but even wading through snow late winter in colorado I never had an issue with cold feet

My dad swears by Whites Boots especially when you are doing a lot of side-hilling. He is ex-USFS and got introduced to them when fighting fires back in the day. The only problem with them is that I do not think they are waterproof and that is a big issue with me and is the only reason I have never bought a pair. Someone please correct me if I am wrong about the waterproof comment. They are also pretty pricey, but your feet are worth it.

the firejumpers and loggers are not waterproof as "standard".... but you can order them that way... and they make several styles for hunting that come waterproof.... or, you can just use a good boot grease and waterproof them that way... you won't be dissapointed in them if you spend the money...

I have been very satisfied with the Danner Pronghorn's. They keep your feet warm and dry for those all day hunts. They're very comfortable also.
