I've been hunting grouse for a few years. We still can't get any of them suckers through the brush

I shot one last year, and it fell right in front of my dad, he thought it was dead and yelled "You got em!" and sure enough, he got up and ran off! we started shooting but could never find em lol we go every year for a few days up by our cabin.

I usually go after the first of the year. After deer season I'm usually burned out. I mix it up. Hunt ducks after x-mas. And hunt yote's quite a bit. But our grouse population is back up. So i'll be hunting them more than I have been.

i love grouse huntin, but when we go in the michigan u.p. we get woodcocks and grouse at the same time. so you got to be ready for anything. the musclecar grouse straight and fast.or the acrobatic looptydoop timberd--k.up there if you can find aspens close to blueberries LOOKOUT
and bring extra shells.

I absolutely love grouse hunting. As said above here in the U.P. of Michigan you get grouse season along with some other birds. You have to be ready the entire time you are in the woods. This year should be an awesome grouse year, because everytime I am in the woods since Turkey season all you hear are the wonderful sounds of a grouse drumming. Plus grouse are super easy to clean and taste wonderful.

Grouse hunting is a lot of fun. And they make a great meal.
