Just wondered if you can get one without a muzzleloader barrel? I would like to have one so I can have several different rifle options. I don't use a muzzleloader anymore. Does anyone have a rifle barrel for theirs? I saw Brad Farris use one on the videos. It looks like a .300 magnum. I would like to hear pros and cons.

I don't have any cons for you but I bought just the frame from BassPro and then bought a turkey barrel and then a 243. Its a pretty nice gun. You can put the pro-hunter stock on the encore frame and it really helps with the kick. I'm thinking of getting a 300 wm also.

Another thing you can do is get the swing hammer like the Pro-hunter has. I got it on mine and it was only $35.

If you don't have the encore action. Why not buy the prohunter and then buy any and all the barrells you ever wanted?

The only frames I seen for the prohunter were stainless and I wanted a blued one so I went with it and made it into the prohunter all the berrals are interchangeable between the 2.

I have the Pro-Hunter Muzzleloader. I would sell it if the price was right. I bought it new 2 years ago and its only been shot about 20 times. Black and stainless. I think i paid bout 750.00 for it. Would take 675.00.

I belive you can buy a TC Encore in any Caliber you want. I originaly got a Encore in 22-250 and have since purchased .300, ,270, and a .17 barrel's for it. All shoot really good.

It is a great versitile gun. I have also had a local TC guy do some trigger work on mine. He dropped it to 4 lbs of pull.
