I was wondering when yall pull your trail cameras because of the tempature..... I had a moultrie go bad last year i think because of freezing temps.

I know my cheap Wildview cams work really slow in the extreme cold and the batteries die like overnight but I'm sure that all cams are supposed to work in the cold weather.

I have a couple of moultrie d40's and have no problem with the cold. The response time might get a little slower, but it still takes pics.

Well see. Had mine out last night in 11 degrees. From what Ive heard about moultrie I-40s theyll hold up just fine.

ya i have a cheaper moultrie a game spy i think, it will take some pictures in the cold but the batteries die within days, if its below 25 degrees it will be dead within two days

Pretty much like said before, you are just going to loose response time. I am an electronic technition and although temperature does change resistance and capacitive components along with some other things I don't expect anyone to understand. It has to get really cold.....and I mean REALLY cold before you are going to get into major problems. A little here and a little there shouldn't hurt it.
