Has anyone heard of Ohio having a new state record? I'm hearing a ton of rumors, and I have seen a couple of bucks over 200 inches but nothing close of state record. Has anyone seen or heard anything about this phatom buck.?????????????????

Saw a pic of a HUGE non-typical today that might rival the state record.

I saw pics of a deer today that was huge. My taxdermist has a deer in his cooler that scores over 240. The one i saw today in the cooler is bigger than that one also. Massive, stuff going everywhere. Could be the year.......tons of big deer being killed this year.

Where were you seeing these deer?

We saw a deer that had 15 pionts or more,he had tines going everywhere,biggest deer I have ever seen!I mean in real life or on tv!Coshockton!!!

I am in fairfield county. One deer was taken down in Washington County, the other right here in fairfield, north of Amanda

The deer I saw was a MONSTER to say the least.....

It was harvested in Stark County.

I live in North Carolina and my co workers cousins friend killed the new world record in Ohio 2 weeks ago. Its not official yet because you know the rack must dry out for like a month to be scored as a record deer. I have a picture in my phone and will have it up soon. This deer is a monster and he told me that it should be a typical but its not and was initially scored 317 1/4.
The g2's on this deer look 2 feet tall. It was killed in southern Ohio. Your welcome, and no this is not a joke. picture soon...

I'll believe all these records and new records after they are made public and official...this happens every year guys and gals...if somebody shot a new WR then great...can't wait to see it in the publications!

If it's the 200+ from Washington County, it may be the deer my father's co-worker killed. It is a giant, but no state record.

There have been photos circulating of a huge buck that was killed in Ohio at a zoo (AKA high fence).
