I have a 270wsm and love the rifle!Mine is a Winchester model 70,and it is right there at 250 yards!I sighted it in an inch high at 100 yards and it stays within 2 1/2 inches at 250 yards with factory ammo and all my shaking!

ya that is a pretty sweet combination you got there. my first rifle besides a marlin 22 was a model 70 featherweight in 243. ial never get rid of that baby. i have never owned a autoloader before and if i dont get it i will probably get the same recipe you have. do you have featherwieght or the synthetic stock?

Myself I have a Mod. 70 270wsm in the Super Shadow. They dont make it anymore but it is a fine rifle. Mine seems to shoot the 130's better than the 150's, why I dont know. I have yet to shoot an animal with it so I am excited about the possibility of harvesting one in the morning, Hopefully. I have thought about the Sxr. I have never had any trouble with my Mod. 70, I would say that you will have a fine rifle that will be pretty worry free. IMO
