I shot the Admiral by bowtech and liked it, I have shot a Hoyt for years and plan to try the alpha max. I also plan to shoot a Matthews. If you have shot any of these or have any helpful info, please pass it along because as you all know, it has almost got to the point ($$$ wise) where I feel like i'm buying a new car. thanks

I shoot Bowtech, so that is my choice. I also suggest looking at purchasing last years models and save a bunch of $$$ if you look in the right place.
Go with what feels good and what you can afford.
Good luck and shoot a bunch of arrows!

Shoot them all and I think the New Hoyt will satisfy you well enough. It is a sweet shooter.

Go to a bow shop and just shoot them. Everyone on here will hammer you with what they think is the best. I shoot a Mathews. They shoot great for me.

Did you like your Hoyt? If so why change?
I have a Hoyt Vectrix XL love it and shoots like a champ.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Not saying the others are bad bows, I have heard lots of good comments about them from guys at work.

Check out the Mission line by Mathews. The Journey is an awesome bow. Also check out the Ross Cardiac/G5 Quest. Best bow for the money 10 times over!

They are all very very good, at this point, its all about the feel and confidence in what you shoot. My choice is Mathews.
