I just moved to utah this year and was wondering what are the better units to bowhunt elk? Also is there any general hunting or is it all on a points based system?

What area of the state do you live in? There are some any bull oppertunities without drawing an LE tag but most of the state is archers choice spike/cow. Currently the Wasatch Extended hunt is going on thru Dec, mostly east of I-15 from Draper way up north. This is any bull (or cow), tough hunt but hard work can get you an elk. Best to have some mountain goat in your blood, it is steep.
