I just purchaced a TC ProHunter 300Mag I put a Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 BDC reticals on top. The ammo I bought was Remington Core-Lock's 150 grain. I did like the BDC said and sighted it in dead on at 200yds. When I backed it out to 300yds and used the BDC's for the 300yd mark I was hitting about 6 1/2 inches high. Which is the same point my 200yd cross hairs were on. I dont have any experace with a 300 Mag but shouldnt there some drop in my bullet from 200 to 300yds? Any help on this would be great.

According to Remington's ballistics, there's about 6.1" of drop from 200 to 300 yards with a 200 yard zero. That help any?

Wes is right, but maybe try 180 gr bullet and see what happens.

Well just a thought. Nikon makes two BDC reticle scopes. There is a magnum version and a regular version. I think you are going to need the magnum version for a 300 win mag. I know my buddy has the 300 win mag and he consistently drops deer out to 350 and beyond.
