Full Version: Comfortable Tree Stands?

I just finished my vacation during this last week of archery here in PA. Trying to sit for long hours in a tree stand is very tough for me. In my climber I can do it, however between myself and my four buddies we must have 40 tree stands out. Most of them are comfort zone, big dog, north star, and hunters view. These are good affordable stands so we buy multiple so we have many stand options. I like walking quietly into the woods and climbing into a stand, and only using my climber if necessary. Does anyone have any suggestions on which hang on stands are great to sit in, arm rest, padded seat and foot rest? I am 6'3" 215 and sitting on these little stands for long periods and staying still is nearly impossible. My idea is to buy a few, more expensive stands and put them in the locations that are hot during the rut so I can sit longer.

Thank you,
Gabe
