Well i bought a 870 today at Cabelas. It was on sale for 399.99 for the combo. I am shootin the Hornady SST's out of the rifled slug barrel so hopefully i can shoot it here soon. My dad talked to the guy and he said since Obama became the next Pres the sale of Ar-15 guns has sky-rocketed. He also said that he cant tell how many guns have gone through. So hopefully i can get a deer with it during gun season.

Good choice. You will be very happy with the firearm. I have 3 of them, only shotgun I have owned. They take a beating and keep on ticking. I dropped mine in a half frozen lake once, pulled it out, drained the water out real quick and took a few shots with no issues.

I also have heard the prices have gone up alot on those. I also heard that sales have skyrocketed in the past weeks.

A Remington 870 is a solid gun and has been around what seems forever. I use the 870 Supermag for turkey and absolutley love it. Enjoy your new gun and be safe!
