all these blades still have the same problem... 100 grain only!!!!

Rage, Undertaker (meat seeker), the list goes on and on....

come on', primos and trophy ridge... I need a 125 grain model!!!

guess I'll keep shooting the tekkan by G5

I wonder if you could put the 2" blades on the 3 blade undertaker? That would be awesome! I am going to get some replacement blades and try it!

365-what is a 125 gonna do for you that a 100 won't?

125 help with front of center when you have a longer draw and heavier draw. I have shoot a stiffer arrow and 125 gives me a better spine, easier to tune. Also if you are looking for more KE! I prefer heavier arrows, hold more KE down range. We are talking 10 to 15 ft/lbs. Not 2 or 3, it is a myth that light arrows are better for long range.

nothing.... there isn't anything that a 125 will do that a 100 won't... at least not for my uses. For me it's a matter of "have to" not "want to"...

my bow has a minimum arrow weight of 425 grains and there is just no way to get it to work without the 125 grain head.

Some states also have minumum arrow weights as part of the regs... in WA it was 6 grains per pound of draw wieght, which would be at least 420 grains for a 70 lbs bow... I knew alot of guys up there that couldn't get there bows to tune without the 125's.... and people didn't want to tone down poundage just to lighten up the arrow, b/c lower poundage and lighter arrow means less KE, and in WA we were hunting bear and elk!!

Maybe they should make a little neck, or ring, or something that could just slip over base of these broadhead to change from 100 to 125... the Grim Reapers have such a system, not sure why other companies haven't adapted it.

187 & 365 thanks for the info and the explanations.

Um, no thanks...

Why should I have to spend more money on something just to make it work? I think it should work just the way I buy it!!!

Here's an idea, how bout offering the head in a 125 version? that's what G5 does with the Tekkan, so that I can use it the way I bought it. Or, how bout Trophy Ridge pick up the cost and include these boosters in every pack if they choose not to offer the 125... that's what Grim Reaper does...

stop being cheap and just add the little booster in package

Why would Trophy Ridge include a component from a competitor with their heads? That's just silly talk.

I was putting it out there for you as an idea to accomplish what you WANT.

VERY few people shoot 125 grain broadheads anymore, and cost-wise it would not be efficient to manufacture both sizes. The demand for the 125 would not be great enough to quantify this, and if it was done, the result would be an increase in price of ALL of them to make up the lost $$$$.

Blah, blah, blah.... sales talk from a prostaffer.... go figure...

well, G5 makes a 125 so guess they think it's cost effective... and that's why me and my buddies shoot them.... so my business is already going to ya'll competitors anyway!!! Grim Reaper includes a 25 grain "add on" with their heads....

sounds like your company is cheap... and all about $$$ .... too bad

G5 ALL THE WAY!!!!!

It's obvious we can't please everyone out there, but we do LISTEN to everyone, no matter how rude, inconsiderate, or misinformed they are. We take the good, the bad, and the ugly - and use it to make our products better, or in some cases, THE Best.

Good luck with your G5, they are great heads as well. Some good friends of mine have had great luck with them this fall.

If my comments came across or were taken as rude or inconsiderate then I apologize.... that was not my intent. I kinda felt the same about your comments... but I guess we will have to just agree to disagree.

I meant not disrespect. I don't think I'm uniformed... I know that other companies seem to be able to do it.

If trophy ridge feels that it's not worth it from a profit stand point, then that is a business decision ya'll have to make... if other companies feel that it is worth it to capture the business then that is what they will do.

I don't think it would matter if they charged a little extra money. If it's going to punish the 100 grain people then only raise the price of the 125 heads... every bowhunter I know doesn't care about a few extra buck... they care about getting a product that works and the product they want.

keep making the 100's only... I'm sure you will sell plenty... maybe one day I'll make the switch

125's are always gone out west, i prefer them for elk and mule deer. Would be nice to see them. Maybe you could pass that along Dan.

Most of my hunting buddies shoot them too.

125gr are still a very popular size, I went to carbon arrows and bumped up to it because I like the weight of my arrow with 125 gr head. But it wasn't till I went to buy broadheads that I figured out how limted I became, thankfully tight points makes that shuttle t-lock in 125, but I would love to see a rage or undertaker, in a 125gr. I like the tekan but the cut is not near what those two are.
187Elk
You should try the Tekens with the extra cut blades, makes them 1 1/2" instead of 1 5/16". Put a huge hole in my bull this year. Got a complete pass thru @ 60 yards! the new model is only 100 gr though.
GreeneCoDeerKiller
Back to the whole problem though, i like 125 gr. heads and that is what iwant to shoot, i don't loose that much velocity, and I would lot rather have the heavier arrow weight.
