I Am leaning toward switching from an hha adj. 1-pin to the trophy ridge matrix 3 or 5 pin????

what do yall think of these sight?????????

opinions please!!!!!!!!!!

I just made that exact switch. I liked the single pin HHA sight for targets but not for hunting. The distance can change too quickly for a single pin, so you wind up just guessing where to put that pin.

I recently installed the 5 pin Matrix. Got it sighted in starting at 10 yards up to 50 yards and it is working great. The only downside is the pins are not as bright as the HHA was. I added the LED light but I have not shot with it in a low light situation yet to see how it works with that on. All in all I believe I will be happy with the switch when the season opens.

test them out at the pro shop first... or shoot a buddy's bow that has the vertical pins... people either hate the vertical pins or love them... so make sure you know which one you are first... the vert pins look a lot different when shooting at a target, and some people have problems picking out the different pins....

Quality sight and alot of guys love them... or, hate them.... test them first

Dont do that HHA has a very bright fiber optic and Trophy Ridge does not. This year I switched for a Matrix to a Cobra Sidewinder, what a difference in low light.

Got the 5 pin matrix GS and I love them. The only drag is that they don't have great low light capabilities so you need to add the light that G5 makes to brighten them up. Below is the link to the G5 rheostat. After that they are a great setup that I haven't regretted yet. Oh yea, not all states will allow you to have a light on your sights so make sure your allows for that.

I have a micro matrix 5 pin. No problems in low light w/ the little nitro lights that can be inserted into the sight. If I can't see the pins it's way past legal shooting time based on Wisconsin's definition

The 2008 Matrix sights feature TIC pins that allow you to differentiate between them in low light situations. I tested them extensively this spring from the Double Bull with no problems at all.

The new fibers are brighter than the old as well.

My bow has a Matrix on it for upcoming deer season.

Dan,
Does Trophy Ridge have any plans to replace the plastic with metal in their sights for durability purposes?

For the Matrix line - I doubt it...alot of people complain about the "plastic" sight housing on them, but in all actuality - they are a composite, and I have NEVER heard of one breaking. I have broke 2 Matrix's since I started shooting them many years ago...never the composite housing...

Don't fix what aint broken.
