I've been using a Gator Jaw release custom mounted to a Tru Fire wrist strap for the past 8 years. I had to do some work on it today and I am afraid that it may be time to retire the Gator Jaw.
I've been having trouble locating a new one so it may be time to try another type. What are some of you using out there and are you using it with or without a string loop?

I think mines a tru-glo? I bought it awhile ago at my brothers work, still use it. It works fine. Its one of those ones where you have to push it forward to lock it, and then pull back to release it.

Thanks for all the input everyone, definately some things to take a look at if the time comes when I do need a new release.
I've got my gator jaw all set up and its working great so I am going to stick with it. Hard to put it down after 8 years of good use.
