I would like to hear peoples results on testing various mechanical broadheads with shoot-thru netting. What models have worked well and which have had problems. Please list model and results good or bad.

It was always my understanding that there weren't any mechanicals that would work with the shoot through netting.

But I've considered cutting slits in the netting on my blinds to allow the arrow tip to penetrate the arrow netting prior to release. I plan on trying this in practice to see how well it may work.

the new Undertakers by trophyridge (primos) work well... the pressure by the net not enough to push the tip back and deploy the blades...
You can also use just about any over the top expandable through nets by simply adding an extra rubber band around the blades to keep them shut....
And always make sure the mesh (net) is pulled as tight as possible, if the net has any give to it no arrow, fixed or mech, will fly well when shot through it.

I wouldn't trust shooting through it even with fixed blade broadheads. I ike a nice clear shot just take down the netting & use a small window. To each his own but I hut from about 20' up whenever I can.

You can use any that do not have the big hooks on the end. I have used the Undertaker, TekenII, wasp jakhammer, and Rocket steekhead. Never had a problem out to 40 yards. I test them in my yard before going out.
