I see this dove decoy's at walmart. There like 2 bucks a piece and it looks like a perched dove with clip to attach to trees , bushes, etc.

Has anyone used these and do they help your hunt?
Callin' them up
I bought two the other day. For two bucks I thought why not.

I'm planning on using them on Sep 1 when our season opens. I think it will work. I plan on clipping them onto a dead tree so they are easy to see. Then sit and wait with my dog by my side. I'll let you now how they worked.

$2 for a decoy. Are you kidding me!!! You have to love Wal Mart just a little!
Bring 'em In
these decoys r great for bringing those doves just a little bit closer. 2 bucks. definitely worth it

Man I love mine, I tie it to a fishing rod, and them throw it over a power line so it looks like a dove sitting on the line, I like the power line because I feel like they will see it better, and man that thing is deadly.

Do you tie your line to a guide on the rod? I would think that the weight of the decoys would cause the rod to rotate so that the decoys hang upside down - what's the secret?
