I've heard of people releasing pheasants on there property, so they could get a wild population going. So could you do this with grouse. Where i'm at there is no grouse at all-like there extinct. I've also heard you can't raise grouse for some reason, but if you can where can you buy grouse and how much are they. thanks.

id say your best bet is go to grouse unlimited homepage and see some info on there. i am sure they can answer this question better than i can.

My dad is actually looking into this same thing. We haven't seen a grouse or heard one in probably at least 5 years....
