Will there be a 2008 contest?

There is always contests on this site... Just watch the Online users thread and on the front porch they always anounce it way ahead of time. The Mods are great about this, and there are also some members taking the reigns of other contest too. Best of luck and welcome to the cabin

Do youth season birds count on the score? B/c i'm not sure if a got a regular season permit or not.

Yes, just be sure to take the neccasary picture of you, the turkey (and its specs) and the tag to enter the bird and be sure to specify that the bird was taken during the youth season.

Will anyone be able to join?I'm new to the forum and would like to join the contest.Seems like a good time and would nice to see all these birds out the other people harvest.

Get your post count up, there will probably be a minimum # of posts required. This keeps people who really aren't regular users of the site from joining the contest and becoming deadbeat members of a team.

what kind of post count number are you looking at? i don't really get on here alot unless it's hunting season because that's when I get fired up. But I would like to participate this year. Isn't there going to be other criteria other than a post count???

I'm sure there will be more criteria, with 81 posts I don't think you have to worry, the main concern is the guys that have never posted, join the contest, and are never on here again.
