Hey guys, I was looking at getting an archery target for the back yard and I saw the yellow jacket target. I noticed that in the cabelas magazine they have it listed as the "Morrel Broadhead Only Target" My question is, why cant you shoot field tips into it as well? Would they pass right through it because there is nothing cutting into it and slowing it down? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I have that target, works great for broadheads. Lasts a long time for broadheads. put multiple dots on it and spread your shooting out all over the target. You will pull your guts out trying to pull out field points out of it. Get yourself a the Block or something of the equivent with layers of compressed foam for your field points and don't shoot broads into it. you will kick youself if you do like I am. It will fall apart after you shoot it with broadheads. I couldn't afford to buy a target for broadheads and one for field points at the time. I sure wish I did. Now I have both. I recomend 2 different targets. Unless any one else knows of a target that works for both that doesn't have the problems that I have just said.
