I have for sale ten (10) Easton Axis 400 series (9.0 gpi) arrows that are in good shape. Well, nine (9) of them are ready to shoot right now and one has a broken nock. I bought these arrows in early spring of 2007 and used them for one hunting season. They are cut at a lenght of 25 7/8 inches long (measured from where the string sits on the nock to the tip of the shaft) and I used them with my bow that has a 28 inch draw lenght. They are equiped with orange nocks and blazer vanes, two neon yellow and the cock vane is white. Arrows were cut and put together by a local pro shop here in Great Falls, Montana. The vanes do show sign of use as any arrow would being shot through a whisker biscuit and the shafts have some paint missing from where they were removed from targets. Some arrows do show more sign of use than others, but all arrows are able to function correctly (except the one with a broked nock, will work once the nock is replaced).

Little info about the arrows.........................

ST AXIS
ST Axis started the small–diameter revolution and remains the number-one choice for bowhunters looking for magnum performance in a big game arrow. ST Axis arrows provide more DURABILITY, POWER and ACCURACY than regular carbon arrows.

-Internal-fit "X" Nock–Installed
-HIT Insert installed
-Straightness: +/- .005" Guaranteed max
-Black, micro-smooth finish
-Weight tolerance: +/- 2.0 grains
-High-strength ST carbon-composite fibers

If anybody wanted to see pictures I can get them up and showing. Brand new these arrows with blazer vanes can run up to $100.00 dollars. Since they are one year old and used I will part with them for $50.00 dollars plus $10.00 dollars for shipping, insurance and a nice shipping container ($60.00 dollars total). If you have any other questions or want to strike a deal, PM me or just drop a message here. Thanks for looking.

Would these arrows shoot good with a 50-55 lb. draw?

Sorry buddy, Eastons arrow chart says you would have to shoot a 62-66 pound bow with a 100 grain broadhead in order to use these 26 inch arrows. The charts say if the arrows were cut at 27 inches then it would work, unless you can add five or so pounds to your draw poundage then I dont think these arrows would work for you, thanks for taking a look.

Well i shoot 26 in. arrows now with 85 gr. heads and a 50 lb draw, but i would be shooting these arrows (if i were to buy them) next year so my draw weigh would be 55-60 lbs.

what kind of arrows are you using now??

Also if they are working for you now then these easton axis arrow just might work for you also. I was checking their chart and I came up with two different situations that would work for you.

#1 move up to a 125 grain broadhead and have your bow set at 59-63 pounds and these arrows will work for you. (you will loose some speed due to a heavier set-up, but speed doesnt kill.........a good shot placement does.)

#2 move up to a 100 grain broadhead and have your bow set at least to 62 pounds and these arrows will work for you. (I would say most people hunt with a 100 grain broadhead)

#3 stay with 85 grain broadheads set your bow at 60 pounds and see if you can get a good tune out of them and if not just get new broadheads that are 100 grains.

let me know what you think about these three situations..............
