Hey everyone, just found this and looks like a nice place. I have a question though.
Watching the show last week I noticed a bow sling (not a wrist sling) that was used by two of the hunters that looked like a thick nylon strap going form cam to cam and had what looked like cam covers in camo that held it on the bow.
Anyone else see this? Anyone know who makes it or where it cmes from?

if im not mistaken i think they sell that particular bow sling here on this site. just check out their merchandise section. i know our local shop carries them and they are a pretty slick little piece of equipment.
On the top of this page click on gear, then on accessories, and you'll see the bow sling. It's $24.99. Not available for purchase until June 1.
Right about now if you hit your local Wal-Mart store you can pick one up for about 2.00. Made by Allen. Not the same but works like it. Or order one from that Duffus off the Outdoor Channel.....Kurt Hahn. You won't regret it

I have to say though that is a pretty neat system. I've been looking for something like that for years now and have tried a lot of different kinds but wound up rigging one myself that's nearly identical to that one, but loaned to a buddy who inadvertently left it in the woods in Canada on a moose hunt :x

Using this program you can enter your bow set up and it will give you the appropriate range of arrow sizes for your equipment. Adding the overall weight and impact velocity of your arrow will allow the program to calculate kinetic energy for you. Cabelas sells these slings now. They are made by Gibbs Archery Gear. You can also buy them from the Gibbs website. They run about $24.

There's a Cabela's about 12 miles from me here though...I'll go and check them out. I saw them in the catalog, but not sure if they're in stock yet.
