wich one dom you guys think is better?

I would have to say the Roar. I have one and it sounds incredible. And I really don't like the growl's sound. It just doesn't sound real to me.

I like the growl much better...the roar is much louder, but I prefer the growl for the overall tone of the call...I do use both, but like the popping noise you can make with the growl...both great calls

proof is in the pudding!

I asked this question a while back and i ended up with the growl but now i think i might get the roar soon, doubt it though. The growl sounds very realistic and aggresive, so id go with the growl first and if you can afford it get both.

I can not say if the Roar works better than the Growl because I do not own the Roar. I do have the grunt/snort weeze by M.A.D. though. You can growl with it and do the snort weeze. I had it work for me last night. I growled and snort weezed at a 2 1/2 year old buck and he came in on a string from about 100 yards away. I guess it is all a matter of preferance in which call works better for you.

after just messing with both calls thinking about your ?...the roar is much much louder...very good on windy days

I like the roar myself. Nice loud aggresive call for any kind of hunting conditions

the buck roar is a very realistic call but the growl is odd shaped and very big in my case is to much to be in my vest the roar is the one that fits my vest the best that is the one i would go with

I love the Buck Roar, because it has the snort-wheeze attatchment, and sounds very realistic!

I have used both and the ROAR has called in at least twice if not three times as many deer as the growl and I have used them in equal amounts in the wind and not in the wind. The Growl has a tendance to bleat out if you know what I mean you can blow it out and the ROAR doesnt You can practically blow as hard as you can and you cant blow it out I choose the Roar. And yes the snort wheeze attachment is also nice.

I got the roar this year becuase my brother was having so much luck calling in deer with it.. I got it and i called in a decent buck on the last day here in PA with it. But i only had it for a week. I herd alot of great things, and it worked for me. I would go with the roar by primos.

Just killed a really nice 8 pt in MD Thursday evening due to the Buck Roar. Called in a handful of other (smaller) bucks that I elected to pass on. Try the Buck Roar; you won't be sorry.

Well i now have both and the growl sounds smoother and more aggresive but if i were u i would get the roar. Dunno y? Just something great about that sound the roar makes.

I have both. Bought the "Roar" last Saturday and took it to the tree stand. Called in four does shortly after I began to use it. One doe came in grunting looking for the maker of that sound! Shot her at 23 yds!!!

The Growl was purchased many weeks ago and has yet to call in a deer for me. It also has a limit to how hard or loud you can blow. Typically, it "tops out" when you blow hard on a windy day; not the Growl however, which can be blown loudly even when the wind is blowing. The Roar does not top out and vibrate like the Growl.
The Roar gets my vote!!!
