I am having troubles with my peep sight. It is not properly aligned and am having difficulty fixing it. It is twisted to far to the right when I draw my bow preventing me from seeing my sights.
Any ideas?
Thanks

My peep moves alittle. What I do is nock an arrow and twist the string so that the peep is in the correct position. Let the nock hold the string where the peep needs to be. You may have to twist it a little past where it would normally be. Try this prior to getting in the stand. It may taker some experimenting. Ive done it for so long now that its a habit for me to twist the string after nocking an arrow.

do you use a self aligning string that attaches from peep to cable with latex tubing?

If you shoot a tubeless peep and a string loop, which is what it sounds like you shoot, you need to line your peep up with your sight so you have clear view, and put a drop of super glue on the top and bottom of both knots of your string loop to keep it from twisting when you draw. This should cure your peep problem. Let me know what you think.

Your string has creeped on you a little bit...That's where the bad rotation is coming from....Best thing to do is put the bow in a press and put a twist into your string. Take it to a ProShop and let them do it for you.
The things other people advised on here will work, but they are just hiding the real problem you have..

I just fought a fight similar to the one you have described and I tried pretty much everything that everyone has said in previous posts. The solution for me was to recable my bow. I have a Hoyt and they come with Fusion cables and strings and apparently they are notorious for stretching. No matter what I did or what gadget I bought, it just would correct and stay corrected...until I put a set of winners choice on my bow.

Yup, most factory strings are bad about it...A good set of custom built 452x strings will cure the problem. I've gotta new set coming for my TRUTH next week, all custom built with 452x material and all Halo serving on them, I hate dealing with crappy strings worse than anything that's why I use the 452x strings built by SPIDER TWIST Strings in Kentucky...Plus when I lived there I was a shooter for them. Even though I moved to Iowa he still builds all my strings & cables.

You might consider going to a No-Peep. I have one on my bow and love it.

No peep
Check out the Hindsight. Very forgiving but takes practice to use. I use it because Ive lost some of my nearsightedness.

These guys are right about the peep sight eliminators to a point...You can use one of them and then you dont have to worry about looking through a string mounted peep.....BUT, at the same time your still not fixing the root of the problem you have. The main problem here is string stretch, taking the peep out and not using it isnt going to eliminate string stretch, only a good set of aftermarket strings will do that...Sooner or later the stretch is gonna cause you some tuning headaches so I'd recommed fixing it before it goes any further.

I agree with chris_carpenter. Go with Winner's Choice strings and cables. They are great.

im guessing it is a tubless peet and if so put your bow in a bow press and move a fiber from one side to the other and adjust it that way thats what my dad and i do with ours.

Actually the correct way is to put it in the press, take the tension off the string, remove one end of the string from the cam and put a bit of twist in the string...You want to keep the strand count as even as possible on each side of the peep sight...Ofcourse if you have a string with 15strands you cant make it even really, you'd want 7 strands on one side & 8 on the other.
Winner's Choice is a great string, a little pricey I think but they still are a great choice.

J-Daddy's right, fix the root problem, don't just try to cover it up.
I see way too many guys all the time with tuning problems, and they continue to get worse because they never fix the problem, they just keep moving their sights.
