went by the same spot i seen all them birds last saterday and there still hangin out there in the same general area at about the same time of day, early to mid morning.. I killed a tom there last fall on opening day.. Im gona go saterday afternoon and build a natural makeshift blind to sit in opening day.. Its 2 weeks out, I hope the birds are still in that routine, I think they will be.. It seemed like I saw a couple toms/super jakes and a bunch of hens there the other day.. it was hard to tell today though cause they were pretty focused on the ground lol.. So if theres a nice tom, I'll take him, if its hens I'll take one of them, if there jakes, I'll let em walk till spring.. I plan to take 4 decoys, 2 feeder hens, 1 upright hen, and a jake.. One thing about turkeys I firmly believe in, is that they feel safter in great numbers.. I know calling will be out of the question, and if Im set up close enough to take a shot, why bust them up and work my tail off geting them to come back.. Last spring I watched a group of 20 birds stand there ground to a coyote.. im sure they were nervous, but they held there ground, and its a good thing they did cause I droped a 22 lbs tom outa that bunch that might just be the best turkey I ever got

.. So I'll set a spot up very close to where they like to hang out, throw the buffet of turkey decoys out and hope they bite

... It sounds crazy, but its worked for me in the past..
