i know most people use 71/2 to 8's for dove but whats a the basic shot recomendations for rabbit an so on?

i use 6 shot out of mi 16 ga and it gitrdont i never tried 7.5

I'd say 4,5 or 6 Shot oughta do you pretty good. Or, Rabbits to say the least. I wouldn't recommend trying 7 1/2 or 8 might lack knockdown power.

6 shot low brass 20 gage works great for rabbtis. also 4-10 6 shot low low or high brass knocks em down great too. Never had a problem with bb's either. i have used 7 and a 1/2 seems like i just stun em. NOt saying they dont work, but i like a good clean kill. And besides my dog works to hard to trail them back to me so I dont want to let him down.

I like #6 cause when I go I hunt for Rabbit and grouse ...... Grouse I would rather 7 1/2 but rabbit I like 5"s so I find 6"s are right in the middle

Check the websites for the various shell makers. Also, many shell boxes have info for the various game species printed on the back of the shell boxes.
